When doing projects, writing a paper, or just doing general work for your job/school, it is important to have the right environment so you can be efficient as possible. Here are a few tips on how to have the best work environment as possible.
1. Listen to music.
Listening to music that you like has been proven to make you more focused.
2. Have a hot beverage near

Studies show that drinking a hot beverage while you work increases focus.
3. Sit in a rigid chair at a desk.
Sitting in a chair at a desk increases focus and helps you get your work done faster. Just make sure to get up and walk around at least every hour — sitting for too long can have bad effects on your body. (NOTE: a rigid chair does not need to be uncomfortable).
4. Use blue and violet colors as much as possible.
The color blue has been shown to increase focus, while the color violet has been shown to increase thought. If possible, work in a blue/violet room, use blue/violet yellow paper, write in blue/violet ink, etc.
